To Place a Side Wall Register or Drum Louver

Select one of the options above from the Registers gallery.

Select the duct run which the component will be placed on.

Note: If placing a Side Wall Register, you are prompted to select a Round Duct.

The Place Component dialog will display.

In the Settings tab, set the HVAC Match Settings as necessary.

Note: There is only one Placement Point available for these components.

Expand the HVAC Port Settings tab and define the options available for the port end preparations.

Click the Design Conditions to define the size parameters for the component. (Width, Height, etc.) By default, these values are determined by the duct size selected.

You may use the other property fields in the Placement dialog to define more specific values for the component as needed.

Pick a point along the length of the duct to place the Register/Louver and left click to accept.

Use the mouse to determine the rotation for the component and left click to accept.

Right-click to end the placement procedure.
